Small Business Is The Solution To Stimulating Our Economy!

goldenkeySmall Business Owners Are The Key!

Consider this a “Call to Action“.
Small business is the solution, not the problem. If you are a small business owner concerned about your future, or an employee concerned about job security and have an entrepreneurial vision burning inside, or maybe you are a recent casualty of a corporate consolidation looking to take your life in a new direction, now is the time for decisive entrepreneurial action!  Do not be intimidated by the politicians, pundits, media, or even Chicken Little herself screaming that “the sky is falling”.

It is not going to be President Obama, the banking and investment industry, the unions, Congress, Wall Street, or Fortune 500 companies that are going to turn around this economy and our fortunes.  The solution is going to be small business entrepreneur’s like you and me that are going to right this ship and guide it into safe and prosperous waters.  The quicker we realize this and begin to demand real leadership and action geared towards helping us and not the study of “pig odor” and keeping banks swamped by greed and debt afloat, the faster we can begin to move forward again.

On Saturday, March 14, 2009, The New York Times “Weary of Looking for Work, Some Create Their Own” reported that according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics in 2008, 3.8 million companies had fewer than 10 workers in the United States and they employed 12.4 million people, or roughly 11 percent of the private sector workforce. This is where the future of our economy is, not in giving each family $14 more in their paycheck or developing infrastructure projects meant to bolster congressional pet projects and the unions, with no impact our economy for months or even years.

While corporate America, the banking and financial community, the media and our own Government focus their energy and efforts on promoting themselves in an effort to preserve and protect their way of life. The reality is that the responsibility for the survival and re-birth of our economy falls upon our shoulders, the small business owners and entrepreneurs of America.

The future of this country and this economy is small business.  In the early days it was centered around farming, small town retail and personal sales and services.  In the 2010 economy we will see small town shops re-emerge as the Circuit City’s and other large retailers contract or die.  The internet and global communication will expand the reach of small business beyond the downtown brick and mortar shops of middle America and open up new opportunities throughout the world that we all should be aware of and take advantage of NOW.

Be informed, gain new knowledge, share your vision and  ideas with those who will support you,  think outside of the box we all are expected to work in, embrace new and innovative technology, get involved in your industry and get rolling on a new future that will impact us all.  I believe that “You Are the Solution”!

As always I encourage you to send me your thoughts and feedback.  You can learn more about growing your small business at Bssential Small Business Solutions.

I agree! Small Business is the way to go. Stop outsourcing to other countries or big corporations and help the Mom & Pop stores in your area.
